I thought I'd start with Solar in the ALT Energy discussions to follow. I truly believe that Solar Power is the most significant of all of the ALT Energy industries coming into play in the world today and will continue to be positioned very strongly well into the future. My reasoning behind this belief is as follows:

3. Solar Technology is being Revolutionized now
   
4. Solar Power Efficiencies are rising fast
5. Solar Costs are dropping fast
6. Solar Power can transform inhospitable places
7. Solar Power is very Clean
8. Solar Power is a boon to the Economy
   
9. Solar Power is Easily Located
10. Solar Advantages/Disadvantages
    

Solar power is hot! (no pun intended). Solar projects and applications are multiplying like rabbits around the world at an ever increasing pace. Solar can scale from as little as a Microwatt to the multi-Gigawatt. From powering up a fan on a ballcap to powering up a city. solar Power will be a godsend to our economy and every family's well being and budget.
